Ideas for running a Battle of the Books Team:
- Print and laminate mini pictures of all 40 book covers. When a kid finishes a book, they get that picture to add to a keyring. *They cannot bring these into the competition.
- Create quizzes for each book (perhaps getting progressively more difficult).
- Create a crossword puzzle for each book.
- Do a Kahoot when you meet.
Get 4th graders involved:
- Print off booklists for them as well so they can start reading and tracking.
- Invite them to meetings/practices.
